Judy Williams

Judy Williams

Judy Williams was first introduced to yoga in her late teens when her mother invited her to join an evening yoga class. As an adult, Yoga provided the time to focus on breath and movement, helping her to cope with the hectic pace of every day life. Judy completed her 200-hour Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training through Yoga Six in 2018 and is forever grateful to her friends who encouraged her to begin the life-changing journey of her teacher training program. Her favorite thing to hear is her students telling her they feel better after completing her class. Join her in class and feel the benefits of connecting breath with movement. Everyone is welcome!

Anya

Anya

Hi! I am Anya and I would love to share my yoga practice with you. I started my yoga journey with hot yoga and instantly fall in love with heat and how my body felt more flexible in a hot room and I felt so relieved of stress after each class. After few years of practice I realized that yoga means much more for me than just class practice, then I went deeper into it during my trip to Russia, where I originally from. I practiced different styles of yoga, and I always enjoy the beauty of breath, power and energy of flow. As soon as I came back to the States, I finished Yoga Six teacher training, and here I am – sharing my practice with students of different age groups, different professions and different levels of flexibility. I honestly love to see how yoga changes people to a better stage of themselves. I believe that everyone has a chance and ability to practice yoga, and that’s my favorite part of it! Everything that includes movement and breath is yoga for me – you can meditate, practice in your bed, simply sitting in a chair or staying in a plank- it all will be yoga and surely you will benefit either way.

Come practice with me, you only need an open heart and sweet intention, can’t wait to meet you!

Casey

Casey

Casey has been cultivating her personal yoga practice since 2013 after being diagnosed with PTSD. She used yoga as a companion with therapy to learn how to connect with her own body and care for her mind. She decided soon after being diagnosed that she would like to someday have her own therapy practice and returned to school to receive her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with plans to receive her Master’s in the next few years.

In March of 2018 Casey began her teaching journey with Yoga Buzz by beginning their Yoga Teacher Training program. She graduated the program in June of 2018. Casey has had a passion to incorporate yoga and counseling since experiencing the healing in her own therapy sessions and yoga practice.

Casey has been married for over 7 years to her wonderful husband Karl, they have one son together who is 6 years old. She enjoys spending time with her family which also includes 2 kitties and one pup. She loves to read, watch movies, travel and beat her family at cards?.

Casey’s teaching style is fun and conversational but also empathetic, supportive and kind. She tries her very best to make her student’s feel at ease and comfortable so they are able to listen to their bodies and do what they need to best support themselves.

I Feel Grateful that I encountered Yoga as a teenager. While my practice at that time was far from consistent, I see now, it was a priceless gift to be exposed so young.
After a very painful knee surgery, I dove deeper into the healing energies provided by faithful practice. While the physical benefits called to me originally, I began to see that this Sacred Ancient Tradition offered so much more. I became especially intrigued with the Empowering Concepts of Feminine & Masculine Deity in the Eastern Culture. While Yoga is not a Religion, My Journey often provided me opportunities to further examine my personal beliefs & open my mind to a world much larger than previously known. As a young Mother, I often experienced a longing in My Soul, to Know, In Order To Be Able to Guide My young children aright. The religious upbringing of my own childhood seemed to me, incomplete. The door opened a bit more, and lead me further down my Yogic Path, exploring both my role as a forever student & also as a teachers of these Beloved Truths.
Over the past decades, Yoga has become a Way of Life. A Science. A Practice. A Union. It is my Prayer that as our paths cross & intertwine I will Inspire Passion Within You, as it has been Awakened Within Me. ~ Namaste’

Darlene

Darlene

I have been practicing yoga for 20 years since I started in a prenatal class when I was pregnant with my daughter.  I have always wanted to become an instructor but could never seem to find the “right” place for me until I found Holy Yoga.  I went from taking a couple of classes, to attending a retreat to signing up for instructor training within the span of about 6 months!  As my pastor put it, Holy Yoga combines 2 things you love: Christ and yoga. A little about my personal life.  I live in St Louis and have 4 children ages 16-24 (3 boys and 1 girl)  I practiced medicine as a Physician Assistant for 25 years primarily in surgical specialties and retired in 2015.  I am now working at I Love Juice Bar Ladue and focusing on growing my Holy Yoga ministry. I hope and pray to see you at one of my classes.

Robyn

I began practicing yoga about 2004 as way of increasing my flexibility.  In 2008, my good friend was the instructor and suggested I take the 200 hour yoga teacher training class offered by Many Hearts Yoga.  They accepted yogi’s by recommendation only. She thought I would offer a fun loving, joyful and light-hearted practice. I had filled in for her when she was unavailable.  I had several students comment how I had helped them with modifications and feel good about themselves. As well as many comments on how I made yoga joyful.

The unexpected benefit from Yoga I discovered right away in 2004 is the ability to clear my mind and focus on the positive by bringing awareness to what and who I truly grateful in my life.  I have become truly accepting of my higher power and the impact on my life. Thank you Julia for seeing something in me I never would have.

So come check out any one of my classes and leave uplifted.

Yolanda

Yolanda

Yolanda Hue began practicing yoga 6 years ago. As a hairstylist for over 20 years and being vertically challenged she suffered discomfort for many years due to her occupation which she would stand all day. The physical effects after practicing a few times a week gave her more range of motion and the discomfort was going away. Attending classes taught her how to utilize the poses and stretches to do at home. As she deepened her practice her curiosity led her to want to learn more about the history and fundamentals of yoga. In 2016 she graduated with her 200 hour certification as a yoga instructor through Yogabuzz. It was the best decision she ever made.

Michelle

Michelle

Michelle completed her 200-hour teacher training with Yoga Buzz in December of 2016. Her goal as a teacher is to allow her students to find what feels good for their own body and to ensure that her students leave the class feeling fulfilled and at ease with their practice. She is passionate about helping students reconnect with their body and their breath in order to gain self-confidence and contentment that can be brought off the mat and into their everyday life.

Yoga for me is not about scantily dressed Instagram poses, but how I connect with my mind and body as one on the mat. Yoga brings a deeper awareness to my everyday life and a sense of awe and appreciation for myself as a whole and what my body and mind can do. I believe yoga should be accessible to everyone and my teaching style is reflective of this. My classes are not about getting into “contortions” but getting out of the everyday contortions we put ourselves in through texting, desks jobs, driving, etc. My classes will give your body the nurturance it needs along with enough physical challenge to build strength and balance, with an emphasis on breath work. I completed my RYT in 2014 and began teaching as a way to share my passion. I am also a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Registered Art Therapist. You can learn more about my therapy practice at

Tammy

Tammy

A dear friend, who was a recent Yoga teacher training graduate and opening her first studio, motivated me to come to one of her classes. I was skeptical but wanted to support her so I went and guess what? I fell in love with Yoga! I found that Yoga has a way of enhancing the ability to enjoy living in the present, to slow down, reflect and breathe. The class was fun, interactive and informal and I went away with a new frame of mind. Yoga is not only an ancient beneficial exercise but also an accessible discipline to a new way of life. I went on to grow and learn and completed my teacher training in 2014. With Yoga I have learned to live life with appreciation, respect and self acceptance. I also learned to calm my minds unnecessary chatter, decrease stress and increase patience. These blessings have made me a better mom, wife, friend, business partner, Dental Health Care professional and business owner. These are the blessings and teachings I wish to share with all of our community in a kind, thoughtful manner and relaxed, welcoming environment.. I cherish that first Yoga class and my friend / teacher who taught me that Yoga brings peace and acceptance to life.
