Yoga for me is not about scantily dressed Instagram poses, but how I connect with my mind and body as one on the mat. Yoga brings a deeper awareness to my everyday life and a sense of awe and appreciation for myself as a whole and what my body and mind can do. I believe yoga should be accessible to everyone and my teaching style is reflective of this. My classes are not about getting into “contortions” but getting out of the everyday contortions we put ourselves in through texting, desks jobs, driving, etc. My classes will give your body the nurturance it needs along with enough physical challenge to build strength and balance, with an emphasis on breath work. I completed my RYT in 2014 and began teaching as a way to share my passion. I am also a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Registered Art Therapist. You can learn more about my therapy practice at
